#ReadThemAllThon TBR Pile

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause

I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Each Pokemon to understand
The power that’s inside

POKEMON, GOTTA CATCH EM ALL!

I am sorry for getting that stuck in your head…..

I have been playing so much Pokemon Go  recently it getting to be an addiction. I am currently level 19, not 100% on my top six, I am halfway to being happy but I digress.

The wonderful lady at ReadatMidnight is hosting the #ReadThemAllThon and even though I have sucked at readathons in the past I am determined to stick with this one! Its Pokemon related!

The ReadAThon runs from Sunday 14th September to Sunday 4th August.

Btw all of the graphics are hers, I still have zero idea how to use photoshop! Also if you have any tip and tricks or know of any tutorials on photoshop please let me know I am a total beginner and I need some serious help!

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. This is the first book of the Chaos Walking trilogy, since I adored A Monster Calls by Ness I am hoping to love this as well.

512 pages, possible 51cp

I have very few books at will make me cry, they just aren’t my type of novel to read per say. I do have Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. It is a contemporary which I am not 100% in love with but it has been on my shelf forever.

357 pages, possible 35cp

I am generally one to jump off the hype train as it has led me on horrible book adventures. But there is one book series that I haven’t started but everyone seems to adore Cinder by Marissa Meyer. I know don’t shoot.

390 pages, possible 39cp

readthemallthon-badge04-rainbow

I have very few books unread that feature diversity. I know its a sham! I do choose Boy Meets Boy by David Leviathan. It is a shorter book but its pretty much the only one!

185 pages, possible 18cp

readthemallthon-badge05-soul

This was another difficult one for me as I have no epic romances in my unread bookshelf but I do have A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray and its set in the 1800’s so heres hoping there is a romance somewhere in there!

403 pages, possible 40cp

Does fantasy count as supernatural? Lets say it does! Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I got this for christmas and I know its a start to a massive series so thats fun!

392 pages, possible 39cp

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass. Its a red book cover thats for sure. I am dying to pick this one up so hopefully I will get around to it when the ReadAThon starts!

readthemallthon-badge08-earth

For this one I chose Red Rising by Pierce Brown, I have no idea if it is post-apocalyptic. I mean its in space and it has class/race theme so I am assuming it will be post-apocalyptic!

Beauty Fridays: Cheeky Little Haul.

IMG_9570 2

I have such a bad time saving money. when I had that book ban it was great apart from the fact that instead of buying books, I bought more makeup and clothes.

Makeup & Skincare

Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs, & Rose Water.
$10

I adore my other products from Mario Badescu, I honestly feel like I will just have my entire skin routine with just this brand one day. Plus I am dying to try out their moisturisers. This is a really refreshing facial spray, I will use this if I need a tad more hydration in the mornings and also you can set your makeup with this, so if I don’t want to use my Urban Decay setting spray I will spritz my face with this. It is also pretty good for taming fly away hairs.

M.A.C Lipstick in the shade Amorous
$36

I have had this shade before and adored it, also my dog did because he chewed it so badly. So I repurchased it and now I have lost it. I want to cry. I swear I am the worst at losing MAC Lipsticks. This shade is a beautiful plum colour which is so alike many of my other lipsticks. Now I just need to find it!

Lush

So this is where most of my money has gone! I like most people love lush so much I trust them with my life, or at least my skin!

Intergalactic Bath Bomb
$8.95

This is a fairly recent one of theirs and I love it. This will be the 3rd one I have purchased. It turns your bath into a swirling galaxy. I am not 100% sold on the smell but the experience it totally worth it.

Yog Nog Bath Bomb
$6.95

Christmas in July! Oh how I love Lush at Christmas which makes Christmas in July so wonderful! This scent just brings me back to the time in December when I am trying to take a bath in the middle of summer!

Melting Marshmallow Moment
$4.95

The smell of this one was following me around all day. If you like Snow Fairy you will love this. It is a bath melt which I have been really into recently, they are so moisturising and creamy. Highly recommend!

You’ve Been Mangoed
$4.95

The price tag gets me so easy! Less than $5 for something that makes your bath so soft and creamy! They get the fruity smells down perfectly. It smells like you are floating on an island of mangos.

Floating Island Melt
$4.95

Again another bath melt, this one smells like sandalwood so a little more of a grownup scent! Plus I think it has a stick of vanilla in the middle! Again so moisturising and delicious!

H’sian Wen Hua Hair Treatment
$20.50

I didn’t realise that I had used this one before when buying this, the smell isn’t my favourite but if I remember correctly it works wonders. Mum and I are sharing this and since we both have shorter hair it shouldn’t run out too quickly!

I am pretty sure I have bought other stuff from lush I just have used them and I cant remember!

Clothing & Misc

From Target I got this beautiful light wash demin shirt which is the single softest shirt I have ever worn! It is lovely and I think it cost me $29.
Also from target I got the wicked cool Kitty Travel mug. I needed something to take my coffee & tea into work with me and for $4 it was purrfect. See what I did there?

Until next Friday

Books I need to Finish!

IMG_9417

I have such a bad issue with stopping in the middle of books that I am throughly enjoying, I have absolutely no idea why I do this to myself at all.

My Sister Rosa by Justine Larbalestier.

This book so far is brilliant, I am 150 pages in and I am loving it. It follows a 17 year old boy who just wants to move back to Australia where is his friends are but he is forced to move around the world wit his family. His biggest job is making sure his little sister doesn’t hurt anyone as he believes she is a psychopath. Its very slow burning, which I do like and the pace that we get backstory information is very suspenseful.

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige.

I am about 150 pages into this and I have put it down twice but the story is so interesting that I do want to keep reading it! This follows Amy who travels into the Wizard of Oz land, but Dorothy is a evil dictator. Fun! The Wicked Witches have to train Amy to take down the crazy Dorothy!

The Raven Boy by Maggie Steifvater.

I am 160 pages into this brilliant book. It took me forever to pick up this book in the first place but I am so annoyed I started it in my horrible book slump! This is such a unique and amazing story so far and all I hear is amazing things.

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.

This has been a long time coming, I am on my second round of trying to read this massive book. I am such a fan of the TV series but I really want to read the series! I think the idea that this is my first massive high fantasy series I have ever tried to read is so daunting!

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare.

I binged the frist 3 books of this series but this book fell so flat so I put it down. I should pick it back up again but I do know that the next books do get better and better. I just felt so disappointed and I was kind of sick of the two main characters, they are such complainers!

Until the next time I read A book
